Couldn't they note that an English major logically would have completed WI and WE by taking the required 120 and 220 courses for the major? Or that a philosophy major logically would have fulfilled the philosophy requirement just by being a major? It's sillyness that should be resolved on their end before students have to even go through the process of appealing. There's no reason why those things couldn't be resolved right within the Registrar's office.
