Why are you Involved in Journalism?  When I got started with the Voice, I thought that journalism might make a practical and easy way to turn my English major into a writing career. I was massively and entirely wrong, but I got addicted to the field. Now I want to produce and distribute stories that provide access to less-heard voices, nuanced perspectives, and, of course, the best writing possible.

Why are you involved in Journalism? My favorite part of journalism is telling stories. I love hearing perspectives that are different from mine and learning from people that I might not otherwise have met. I think journalists play an extraordinary role in giving a voice to individuals and groups that are often not heard.
