Horizon (A Poem)
Written by Elora Roy• March 8, 2020• 9:49 pm• Arts
Where lies the line that divides wax
From sun, earth from sky, fall from leap?
You, fallen one who could not keep
Time: restore the balance it lacks –
Balance of time, of wax and sun.
Mediocracy always preys
On rules this endless tango lays
Which made Icarus come undone.
You never were a friend of mine –
Yet joined as one, our feathers shine
Soaring towards the horizon line. •
