The Conn Coll men’s soccer team has unfortunately fallen in the NESCAC championship 0-1 to the #1-ranked Tufts University Jumbo. After taking down #19 Williams College in the first round of the NESCAC Championship 2-1 in Williamstown and repeating the same score the following week to defeat the #11 Wesleyan Cardinals, the Camels immediately began preparing their second game of the weekend as the defending NESCAC champions. The game was a defensive slugout with both teams combining for seven shots-on-goal. The Camels dominated their offensive possessions with a 5:2 shot ratio over Tufts. The game appeared as if it may go into extra time before the single goal of the game made by the Jumbos with 8:56 left in regulation. The Camels tried rallying back with six shots and a free kick in the final nine minutes that were unable to reach the back of the Tufts net.
