Connecticut College Men’s Swim and Diving was victorious once again as they jumped to a stellar 8-1 this season after a dominant victory over Wheaton College 197-95. The Camels were able to win 11 of the 14 individual events at this dual meet on Sunday. Campbell Noel ‘29, Julian Carlson ‘29, and Cam Bizjak ‘27 all came out on top of two events each. Noel won the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle; Carlson won the 200 Breaststroke and 100 Breaststroke; and Bizjak won the 1M and 3M dives. Carrick Shea ‘28, Dawson Rice ‘29, Ryan Karaca ‘27, Evan Lyons ‘27, and Stepan Ignatiev ‘27 all each won an event on the day as well, with Shea winning the 50 freestyle, Rice winning the 200 backstroke, Karaca winning the 200 Individual Medley, Lyons winning the 1,000 Freestyle, and Ignatiev winning the 200 fly. It felt like just another day at the office for the winning Camels in the pool as they are one step closer to the NESCAC championship which they will compete at from February 19-22 in just a few weeks.
