News Briefs – Fall 2025 Issue 3

  • The College informed through email that packages have been reported missing or left in random spots around campus, and asked students to bring them to the mailroom if they spot one
  • The New London Food Stroll brought plenty of flavor as students used free tickets from the Holleran Center and other campus programs to sample dishes from restaurants across the city. The event also previewed the upcoming Water Street Waffle Company, offering a sneak taste of its soon-to-open menu.
  • The Theater Department put on the play “1984” this weekend, an adaptation of George Orwell’s novel of the same name, directed by Malik Work ‘98.
  • ASA’s Afrobash drew a packed crowd to Humphrey’s, where an open tab and lively DJ set kept students dancing all night. The high energy even sparked jokes across campus, with students calling this year’s Fall Ball “Afrobash Part 2.”
  • Fall Ball on October 11 featured a DJ, food, and a photo booth, with students ending the night at Oasis, laughing and eating until the lights went out.
