  • Construction around campus has entered some new phases, with renovations between Gravel and North lots moving forward, progress being made out in front of Harris, and the sidewalk outside of Burdick being completed. Also outside Burdick, the switchgear has been installed, and work on that site will continue in the spring, alongside resuming work on the Cro-Plex connector.
  • As explained in a campus-wide email by Dean Smith, the Division of Retention and Success has completed its reorganization, including the establishment of new positions for the management of campus and student support programs. 
  • Tensions are up around campus and student arguments have risen surrounding the $25 Friendsgiving Supper Club hosted by Chartwells before Thanksgiving break, and similarly around limited dining hall hours for students staying on campus during the break.
  • In their second year in club existence, the Connecticut College Debate Union reached new heights at the Yale Inter-Varsity Debate Tournament 2025, earning the highest scores in the College’s history and placing among the top 25 of 124 teams and beating out teams from Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Princeton, Amherst, and other leading institutions.
